Get started with Manatee
Choose how you want to integrate Manatee. Customers pay an address controlled by your wallet; Manatee detects the payment, tracks confirmations, and sends signed webhooks.
Create payments from your backend and own the checkout experience.
Open guideInstall the published plugin and configure BTC, BCH, and XMR without writing checkout code.
Open guideSimulate the payment lifecycle for all supported assets before configuring a wallet.
Open guideBefore you start
- Create a free Manatee account.
- Use a dedicated wallet or wallet account for merchant payments.
- Start with a test network: BTC/BCH Testnet4 XMR Stagenet
- Prepare a public HTTPS webhook endpoint. Local development can use a secure tunnel.
Never submit a seed phrase, private spend key, or wallet password. BTC and BCH use read-only public wallet data. XMR uses a private view key, which reveals incoming activity but cannot spend funds.
API quickstarts

Open guideConfigure a Testnet4 account public key and test CashAddr payment detection.
Open guideConfigure a Stagenet view-only wallet and test unique subaddress payments.
Open guideAll three assets follow the same application-level flow:
- Configure read-only wallet information in the dashboard.
- Create a payment from your backend with an idempotency key.
- Show the returned address, exact amount, network, and expiry to the customer.
- Verify signed
payment.detectedandpayment.confirmedwebhooks. - Update the order idempotently and reconcile against the payment API.
You know whether to continue with the REST API or WooCommerce, and which asset-specific wallet guide to follow first.
